Delivery Info

When you decide to hire events equipment from us, you can choose one of the following options. Either:

1) COLLECT & RETURN IN PERSON

  • Simply let us know in advance when you are planning to arrive at our Gold Coast warehouse and we will ensure it is ready for you.
  • Please bear in mind, of course, that the size (or weight) of the equipment you hire will determine what vehicle you will need to transport it. If our team deem your vehicle to be unsafe to transport our equipment or too small, then a member of our team may be required to deliver your products to you for a fee. It is a good idea to also bring packing blankets and adequate strapping to secure the items.
  • Pick Ups and Drop offs by the hirer are Free of charge and are available during office hours (on pre arrangement basis).
  • Warehouse street address is: The Events Agency, Unit 2 – 28 Greg Chappell Drive, Burleigh Heads, QLD 4220 – BY APPOINTMENT ONLY.

2) WE DELIVER & PICKUP FROM YOUR LOCATION.

  • We also offer a competitively priced delivery and collection service to most areas within SE Queensland and Northern NSW.
  • Our standard delivery and collection hours are between 9am and 4pm Monday to Friday – with crew working towards to a 4hour time window. If you want to specify a particular delivery time slot, contact us to discuss your requirements. We aim to call 30 minutes prior to delivery to notify you that we are nearby.
  • Rates for standard delivery and collection will vary according to the equipment rented, the distance from warehouse, and the available access on site. Delivery rates include staff time, vehicle/truck hire and fuel where quoted. As a general rule of thumb, the closer your location to the warehouse, the cheaper your transport charge is likely to be, and vice versa. If you have non-standard delivery and collection requirements such as out of hours, non-ground floor drop off, more than 20m from where delivery driver can pullup, and other requirements, then extra charges may apply.
  • Items booked for delivery/pickup are to be in one location (i.e. will be delivered in a neat pile at ground level; and picked up from same location).
  • Delivery of equipment does not include setup. Collection of equipment does not include ‘retrieving items’ from various locations or cleaning. Items should be ready for pickup in the same manner as they were delivered.
  • If you require a large quantity of equipment, a labour fee may be added to cover for staff time taken to pick, load and unload the vehicle.
  • If full delivery/pickup information is not told to us at the time of confirmation, the driver may refuse to deliver the equipment or the extra charges incurred may be charged to your credit card.
  • Hirers need to be over the age of 18 years old and must be present on the day of delivery/pickup.
